Scholarships for ACTS Retreat
St. Paul parish has hosted ACTS Retreats (Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service) for its parishioners to promote networks of fellowship and support and encourage spiritual development. The weekend retreat allows an opportunity for parishioners to focus on their faith and its application in their daily lives, to build purpose in their prayer life, to increase their presence at the liturgy, and to cultivate friendship among members of the community. The foundation provided a grant to the parish for scholarships for individuals who might not otherwise be able to attend.The success of the ACTS retreats has inspired members of St. Paul Parish to form their own ACTS team, under the direction of the ACTS Missions, in order to offer this valuable spiritual growth opportunity to other parishes in the diocese.
